With the assistance of an NWT Art's Council Grant,
the Guild brought in Edmonton basket weaver, Rae Hunter to
teach a series of workshops using willow and other natural
materials. The workshop ended with a slide show and display of the baskets at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. Other very successful workshops, incuding one by Kay Harradine have been held subsequently. |
