In this bookmaking workshop, participants will construct a Celtic weave book.  Brown paper bags will be used to form the covers and optional inside pocket flaps. Acrylic paints will be applied to give the bags a faux leather or feral naugahyde look. The book will contain 10 thin sections of paper which highlight the Celtic stitch.  Celtic weave produces a versatile and stable book form with visible spine stitching.
