Private Handbuilding/Decorating Workshop (Mildred Hall School)

In this private pottery workshop for the Grade 5/6 class at Mildred Hall School, students will visit the pottery studio at the Yellowknife Guild of Arts and Crafts.  The students will be accompanied by their teacher and an educational assistant.

The purpose of the visit to the studio is to give students an opportunity to learn the basics of how clay behaves and how it can be used to make functional and decorative pieces.  They will also see how experienced potters take their work through its various stages.

Cost:  Special memberships and clay fee to be invoiced to Mildred Hall School.
